A rare 19th Century English carriage clock of large size and original Mahogany and Brass travelling box and numbered key.
The engraved dial and backplate numbered 3121. The magnificent case fully engraved and to the shuttered back door. The dial with fine hands, a subsidiary seconds dial at 12 and signed, James McCabe, Royal Exchange London, No3121. The 8 day striking and repeating movement with a large platform lever escarpment and strike/silent control.
