A rare 17th century quarter repeating bracket clock in a superb kingwood veneered case by this eminent maker, a member of a family of fine 17th century clockmakers.
The movement with verge escapement and pull quarter repeat and a well engraved signed backplate, the signed dial with apertures for false pendulum and calendar to the centre, strike/silent lever, ringed winding squares and fine hands .
