Eardley Norton No. 283 SOLD
A very fine 18th century George III musical and quarter striking bracket clock by this eminent clockmaker and maker of fine musical clocks. The movement with verge escapement and striking the quarters and playing the selected music from a choice of four dances.
Signed and numbered between the strikes/silent and four dances selection subsidiary dials, the engraved backplate also signed and numbered 1256.
