A fine and rare Charles II walnut longcase clock of small proportions and with a good original patina by this important maker.
The month duration movement with outside countwheel striking and latched pillars and dial. The nine and a half inch dial with superb engraving to the silver chapter ring, Knibb hands and signed to the base of the dial, Joseph Knibb, Londini, Fecit.
The fine walnut case with original twist columns to the rising hood and a good warm colour.
