Edward Burgis No. 31
A very fine and rare 17th century Charles II ebony veneered bracket clock of small size and with superb original gilt mounts. The latched movement with verge escapement and rare quarter repeat operated from either side of the case by a gilt pull bar. The tulip engraved backplate signed, Edward Burgis, Londini, Fecit
