Joseph Windmills No. 58
A very fine 17th century William & Mary walnut and panelled floral marquetry longcase clock by this eminent maker. The bird and floral marquetry with faded green foliage set in strung panels to the door and base, the walnut side panels also lined. The 8 day movement with fine hands to the 11 inch dial signed to the silvered chapter ring, inside countwheel striking and anchor escapement.
